Welcome to Lemon Ladies Orchard! Our third harvest is well underway. So far we have shipped about 3250#s of lemons. That's almost 14,000 lemons! Thank you to all of our friends and customers who continue to support Lemon Ladies and make this entire endeavor so much fun! We are at the very peak of the season right now as you can tell from the picture I took yesterday on the left. The trees are full of beautiful ripe lemons and we are ready to ship some to you! They are nice and juicy and full of that exquisite sweet Meyer taste! These beauties are lovingly raised with organic citrus fertilizer, plenty of sunshine, water and love. We were featured on Daytime TV and a special thanks to Tina Ruggerio, the Gourmet Nutrionist for selecting Lemon Ladies as one of her Gifts for Foodies! One of our favorite customers, The Fruit Guys, recently did a story about us in their newsletter. Thanks, Fruit Guys! And thanks also to Eucalyptus Magazine for their story about Lemon Ladies p.21 Checkout this great story about Meyers by Patricia Lowry in the Pittsburgh Gazette. One of my favorite customers is in Alaska! Check out Nicole Pearce's blog for some really terrific recipes. For some interesting ideas for using our Meyer lemons, take a look at this wonderful article by Amy Scattergood for the LA Times, 100 Things to Do with a Meyer Lemon! Check out a very interesting article on The Nibble by Stephanie Zonis about organic citrus. Ilearned a lot! Stephanie Beack, Scrumptious Street visited and featured us in an article. Thanks to everyone who has ordered lemons, from Alaska to Maine. We very much appreciate your support! Karen Morss, the Orchardess Lemon Ladies Orchard |
